Built Through Failure

Before Diamond Culture was a brand, it was a

story about overcoming setbacks

Justin’s journey was never a straight path. After starting his college career at Salem University, he faced one of the hardest moments an athlete can experience — losing the opportunity he believed he deserved.

Instead of walking away, he used that setback as motivation. Salem became a place where he developed his discipline, improved his game, and

learned what it takes to be prepared when the next opportunity arrived

After transferring to Benedict College, Justin was ready to prove himself.

In his first season as a college starter, he turned preparation into success, becoming a:

• D2 All-American
• HBCU All-Star
• Two-Time First Team All-Conference Player
• Team Captain
• .420 hitter during his college career

The same player who was once told he wasn’t ready became a player recognized among the best. That journey became the foundation of Diamond Culture — a reminder that setbacks are only part of the story. The difference is what you do next

More Than A Game

Diamond Culture started during Justin’s junior year at Benedict College as a senior project idea.

After suffering a shoulder injury, Justin used his rehab period to explore business and learn a new side of the game.

While back home in Canada, he completed an internship with Sharp Electronics, where he was mentored by company leadership and gained a deeper understanding of how businesses are built.

Using the money earned from that internship, Justin invested in the first batch of Diamond Culture gloves

The idea became reality

THE FIRST STEPS

During his senior year at Benedict College, Diamond Culture grew from a project into a real brand.

Operating out of his own closet, Justin balanced college baseball while building the company

The First Glove Series He Started was The Limitless 2.0 Batting Glove Collection

In that first year:

  • 300+ pairs sold
  • First college team partnership secured
  • Benedict College became the first program to trust Diamond Culture

What started with one player became a community of athletes

Our First Batting Glove Collection Started in 2024

The Limitless Collection started with one goal:

Create a batting glove that players could trust season after season.

As players ourselves, we understood the frustration of constantly replacing gloves that couldn’t handle the grind of everyday baseball.

So we focused on creating something different.

A glove built for the players who put in extra work, take thousands of swings, and demand more from their equipment.

BUILDING THE VISION

After graduating, Justin continued growing Diamond Culture while working full-time at Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

The experience helped him understand leadership, customer service, and what it takes to operate a successful business.

After continuing to build the brand and grow the community,

Justin made the decision to fully commit to Diamond Culture.

The Diamond Series took over a year of development, testing, and refinement to create a batting glove that matched our vision of premium performance and durability.

After searching for the right manufacturer, we found a new partner capable of producing gloves made with the highest-quality sheepskin leather — delivering the perfect balance of softness, durability, and performance.

The goal was simple: create a glove that gives players a closer feel with the bat while still being built to handle the demands of the game.

BUILT BY PLAYERS. FOR PLAYERS.

Diamond Culture is more than baseball equipment.

We created this brand for the athletes who have been overlooked, the players still chasing their opportunity, and the ones willing to put in the work.

We believe every player deserves a platform.

That is why we highlight our athletes, share their stories, and help players get recognized through the power of social media.
